The minister recalled that the government cannot sin by “omission”. “So, whoever is in the Executive has some duties and responsibilities, including those of control bodies, including the Federal Audit Court, which requires the Executive to take action. It’s not something I can decide not to do, you know? We search exhaustively , from October to now, a solution. And I repeat, we will, with great humility, we will understand what, we will go over what happened, we will talk to both Houses, there is no problem in revisiting these topics”, he added .

Exemption from the STF

Last week, the government asked the Federal Supreme Court to block the law approved by Congress. The law extended payroll tax relief for 17 sectors of the economy.
