On Sunday (21), a house in Peixoto de Azevedo, 692 km from Cuiabá (MT), was invaded by livestock farmer Ines Gemilaki, aged 48, and her son, doctor Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz, aged 28. The attack resulted in the death of two elderly people and left a priest injured. In new images obtained by g1, it is possible to see the duo leaving the property and pointing a firearm at the security camera. The woman even mocked when she saw that she was being recorded.

The records captured Ines and Bruno leaving the residence they invaded. The woman is the first to notice the camera. She laughs at the device, points a pistol and then appears to warn her son about the footage. Immediately, the man points a 12-gauge shotgun at the equipment and apparently fires a shot. Watch:

Mother and son were caught from the beginning of the attack on the security camera, which shows them both entering the place and firing several shots. Bruno went to the backyard and also fired shots. At least eight people were gathered at the residence. In addition to the two dead, identified as Pilson Pereira da Silva, aged 69, and Rui Luiz Bogo, aged 81, a priest was injured.

The police, who are still investigating the case, suspect that the motivation for the crime is a commercial disagreement involving rent payments for the invaded house. According to agents, the main target of the attack was the owner of the property, who was not hit by the shots. The duo must answer for the crimes of double homicide and criminal association. So far, the defense of those being investigated has not commented on the case.

Moments after the crime, Ines and Bruno were caught at the convenience of a gas station, when they were passing through the city of Matupá, about 13 km from the scene of the homicide, during their escape. On that occasion, they bought beer, water and soft drinks. The establishment’s camera also recorded the moment when the suspect rushed the attendant while talking on the phone.

Prisons

The cattle rancher and the doctor surrendered to the Civil Police on Tuesday (23), and were detained preventively. On the same day, Marcio Ferreira Gonçalves, Ines’ husband, and his brother, Eder Gonçalves Rodrigues, were arrested in Alta Floresta, 800 km from Cuiabá. They are also suspected of involvement in the crime.
