Viracopos Airport, in Campinas (SP), received part of the equipment for the mega-show Madonna on Copacabana Beachin Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for the day may 4th. The cargo came from Miami (USA) and landed on Tuesday (23).
According to the airport’s press office, the equipment was distributed on three closed pallets, weighing 5.4 kg in total. The material is expected to be sent to the capital of Rio this Thursday (25), via land.
The equipment was taken to a controlled and safe area, with electronic surveillance system and staff 24 hours a day, informed Viracopos. Other materials that will be used in the show must arrive directly in Rio de Janeiro.
Madonna brings giant structure to show in Copacabana
During the first landing, equipment from American rock bands arrived Blink 182 and The Offspring. In total, the equipment totaled 240 volumes, weighing 27.6 tons.
