Russia wants to “eliminate” Ukrainian attacks. In response to Kiev’s new onslaught on its territory, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said the Russian army was “struggling to minimize and completely eliminate” attacks from Ukraine.

Since the start of the war in 2022, Ukraine has carried out attacks on Russian industries, but generally uses drones. Other areas targeted by Kiev in adversary territory are railways and refineries.

Drone attacks were also recorded today at factories in Yelábuga and Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan. The attacks “did not cause serious damage or affect the functioning of these factories”, according to the region’s press service on a Telegram channel.

Close to Yelábuga is an area that houses chemical, mechanical engineering and metallurgical factories. In Nizhnekmask there is an important oil refinery.
