“It’s been getting really weird lately. I can’t physically describe one. There are all types. The most common is high school men who like to get aggressive and solve their problems that way. Then there are bankers, girls who like letters, people who are hunters and like the songs about that lifestyle. But I hate fads and trends. I hate jargon. There are a lot of people at our shows because of this rubbish. And they’re either not going to be there the next time we tour or They’re going to be interested in what’s really going on. We’re not too worried anyway.”

In an article published on Whiplash.Net, Bruce William showed what Metallica fans like and hate most about the band. “I really like how Metallica changes their setlist all the time. The ’72 Seasons’ tour might be a bit of an exception, but they still switch between songs, unlike bands like Iron Maiden (who I love),” said one. “One thing I don’t like about Metallica is how mainstream they’ve become.
