‘Twisters’, reboot of the 90s classic, gets a SPECTACULAR new trailer

In an interview with People, Glen Powell (‘Everyone But You’) revealed new details about the production.

“I can only say that ‘Twisters’ will be incredible. It’s a very good film. We had the best in terms of actors and department heads. [O diretor] Lee Isaac Chung did an excellent job directing. I had the chance to watch it and it is spectacular. I’m really looking forward to viewers seeing it in theaters.”

Previously, the actor had revealed that the new film will not be a remake or continuation of the 1996 classic: “We didn’t try to recreate the story of the first film. It’s a completely new narrative. There will be no return of characters from the original film, so it’s not really a sequel either. It’s a standalone story set in modern times.”

The film will be released in national cinemas on July 18th.

Directed by Lee Isaac Chungthe film is a reboot of ‘Twister‘, classic film from 1996.

In the plot, Kate Cooper (Edgar-Jones) is a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years, who now studies storm patterns on screens from safety in New York City. She is lured back to the Plains by her friend, Javi, to test a revolutionary new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), the charismatic and reckless social media icon who enjoys posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better. As storm season intensifies, terrifying never-before-seen phenomena are unleashed and Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves directly in the path of multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma in the fight of their lives.

The cast also has Anthony Ramos, David Corenswet, Brandon Perea, Sasha Lane, Daryl McCormack, Kiernan Shipka, Nik Dodani It is Maura Tierney.
