The documentary that will tell the story of Davi Brito, a former app driver who won Big Brother Brasil 24, will have actors playing Davi and his ex, Mani Rego.

Actors are hired to play Davi and Mani in documentary
The actor Jean Pedro will play the role of Davi. He is from Salvador and is 31 years old, 10 years older than Davi, who is 21. In streaming, Jean has already participated in ‘Carnaval’ (2021) and ‘Unstable Union’ (2023), both on Netflix, and will soon be in the second season of ‘Rensga Hits!’, which premieres in August on Globoplay.
On social media, Jean celebrated the invitation to live as a fellow countryman.
“Day to make a wish come true and a phenomenal job! I think that from these little faces you can already know that we are talking about characters from the couple that Brazil never stops talking about! Soon we will be moved by this champion’s story and identify more and more with everything that connects us to him”, he wrote.
Next to him was the actress chosen to bring Mani to life on screen: Mariana Freire, 46 years old.
Graduated in Theatrical Interpretation from the Federal University of Bahia, she also works as a cultural producer and master of ceremonies. Mariana also teaches courses, lectures and mentoring.
The series is scheduled to be released on April 30 and will narrate Davi’s journey, from his childhood in Cajazeiras, his life as an app driver and his participation in the reality show on TV Globo.
The plot will also feature testimonies from Davi himself and people close to him, such as his mother, Elisangela Brito.
