The Marvel Cinematic Universe has the largest cast in Hollywood, a number that will only continue to grow as the studio produces new films and series.

But still, not all actors who would like to join the Marvel Universe managed to do so. This is the case, for example, of Ryan Phillippeactor known for films such as I Know What You Did Last Summer and the series shooter.

In an interview with Comic Book Movie, Ryan Phillippe revealed that he had already lost TWO roles in the Marvel Universe, in this case the role of captain America It’s from Iron fist. Check out the statement below:

I don’t think I’ll be in a superhero movie after all. I like these movies sometimes, but I don’t know if it’s a world I need to inhabit. I think it’s something I can enjoy as a fan. There were discussions and meetings about Captain America and Iron Fist.

Ryan Phillippe went on to talk about losing both roles to Chris Evans and Finn Jones:

You never necessarily say no to something like that, but I don’t know, it didn’t work out for me. I often think that maybe it was because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
