The Civil Police of the State of Ceará (PCCE) launched an operation, in the early hours of this Thursday (09), to comply with preventive arrest warrants for the crimes of homicide and for being part of a criminal organization. To date, six people have been captured in the municipalities of Maranguape and Quixadá, in Integrated Security Areas 24 and 20 (AIS 24 and 20) of Ceará. During the offensives, nothing illegal was seized.

With judicial decisions in hand, against targets investigated for the crime of homicide registered in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, teams from the Maranguape Metropolitan Police Station went out into the field, this Thursday (09), and captured men who, based on the investigations, were part of a criminal group. With the warrants in hand, the civil police arrested six men, one in Quixadá and five in Maranguape.

As a result, the men were taken to police units where all the procedures for arrest were carried out. Now, the six men have been placed at the disposal of Justice.
