The Federal Government, through the Novo PAC Seleções, informed that it will invest in works and equipment that directly impact the lives of mothers and guardians of children and adolescents in Sergipe. Of the 75 municipalities in the state, 48 will be covered.
The Program foresees the construction of 35 daycare centers, 13 full-time schools, a natural birth center, a maternity ward and five community leisure spaces with playgrounds, totaling 82 works and equipment, such as 27 school buses.
On a national level, of the 2,400 municipalities covered, 48 have four or more projects underway. Three of these municipalities are in Sergipe: Aracaju, Simão Dias and Tobias Barreto.
In Aracaju, the construction of a daycare center, a full-time school and a community sports space is planned, in addition to the Size II maternity ward, with an individual investment of approximately R$153 million.
New PAC in Sergipe
In Simão Dias, with 42,500 inhabitants, a daycare center, a full-time school, a community sports space will be built and a school bus will be delivered.
In Tobias Barreto, with 50.9 thousand inhabitants, the construction of two full-time schools, a community sports space and the delivery of a school bus are planned.
According to the Federal Government, PAC Seleções represents an investment of more than R$15.7 billion in 3,600 works and equipment across the country, promoting direct improvements in the quality of life through essential services such as health, education, sports and leisure.
