SC Judiciary allocates R$ 1.3 million to help RS

The Judiciary of Santa Catarina (PJSC) has so far allocated R$ 1,312,498.84 to the Civil Defense of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The amount will assist in emergency care for flood victims, in addition to the acquisition of inputs, materials and equipment necessary for the reestablishing a normal situation or minimizing the effects of flooding.

  • Court of Justice of Santa Catarina (TJSC): R$500,000
  • Guaramirim District Criminal Court: R$250,000
  • Criminal Execution Court of the Capital District: R$200,000
  • District of Ponte Serrada: R$ 192,521.11
  • Single Court of the district of Meleiro: R$ 94,977.73
  • Special Criminal and Domestic and Family Violence Court against Women in the district of Blumenau: R$30,000
  • Single Court of the district of Turvo: R$25,000
  • Criminal Court of the district of Videira: R$20,000

The acts follow Recommendation no. 150/2024, of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), which authorized criminal courts to transfer amounts deposited as payment of monetary benefits and other legal benefits to the account of the Civil Defense of the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

PJSC forums and units receive donations for RS

PJSC is also promoting a campaign to collect donations to help victims of the rains in Rio Grande do Sul. The main items requested are mattresses (new or in good condition), bed linen, bathing suits, blankets, drinking water, animal feed, closed food baskets and personal hygiene items.

Santa Catarina Judiciary forums and units have collection boxes in visible and accessible locations to later send donations to the neighboring state. Furthermore, anyone who wants to make a cash donation can preferably do so via the official Pix of the State of Rio Grande do Sul: CNPJ 92.958.800/0001-38 – Banrisul.
