Rio Grande do Sul remains in a state of calamity and emergency in around 70% of its territory due to the intense rains that hit the state. Hundreds of people are homeless, facing a situation of great vulnerability.
To help, several institutions and volunteers from Alagoas have mobilized to collect essential supplies, such as non-perishable food, hygiene products, clothing and other items to meet the emergency needs of those affected in the south of the country.
Public, private and non-profit institutions in Maceió and Arapiraca are organized into collection points to receive donations.

In Maceió, the collection points are:
– Mercatto Praia – Opening hours: 6pm to 11pm
– Veterinary Clinic and Pet Shop Mundo Animal – Opening hours: 8am to 6pm
– Casa Tuca – Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, Saturday 8 am to 11 pm
– Post Office – Opening hours: 8am to 4pm
In Arapiraca, the collection points are:
From May 6th to 19th, Shopping Partage, in partnership with CVC, will be collecting donations for families affected by the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
