The system for issuing invoices in the Federal District, as well as in other states in the country, has faced instability in recent days. The problem is caused because all units of the Federation were affected by the shutdown of equipment from the Rio Grande do Sul Finance Department (Sefaz-RS) and the Rio Grande do Sul Information and Communication Technology Center, Procergs.

According to Undersecretary Anderson Roepke, “as the physical structure was completely submerged, what is working is the system that is in the cloud, which is why there is a certain delay in the response, it is a little slower” | Photo: Archive/Agência Brasília

The state’s Datacenter was shut down at the beginning of the week, after the Procergs building was flooded by the heavy rains that hit Rio Grande do Sul. According to the Undersecretary of Revenue at the Secretariat of Economy (Seec), Anderson Roepke, the authorization operation of documents was transferred to the internet data storage environment. “As the physical structure was completely submerged, what is working is the system in the cloud, which is why there is a certain delay in response, it is a little slower”, he explains.

For those who are having difficulty issuing notes, Seec technicians recommend adjusting the network, internet and proxy settings. According to them, access must be made directly to the domains sefaszrs.rs.gov.br and svrs.rs.gov.br. Another tip is to check that your computer does not have a configuration in your environment that limits internet communication.
