Amazonas Military Police recover three vehicles restricted from theft in Manaus

The Amazonas Military Police (PMAM) recovered three vehicles with theft restrictions, in incidents recorded on Monday (05/06), in the east zone of Manaus. Inside, a man was arrested and a tampered with motorcycle was seized.

The first incident was recorded at around 11:20 am, in the Distrito Industrial II neighborhood, when military police officers from the 4th Community Interactive Company (Cicom) were called by the Military Police Operational Communications Center (Cecopom), to check an incident of an abandoned vehicle, on the avenue. Flamboyan. At the scene, a motorcycle was found.

After consultation with Cecopom, it was found that the vehicle was subject to theft restrictions. The owner was identified and informed about the recovery. He reported that the motorcycle was stolen the day before (05/05), during an app race.

In the Jorge Teixeira neighborhood, the police team from the 30th Cicom was carrying out routine patrols on Avenida Autaz Mirim, around 9:20 pm, when they were informed by members of the public that there was an abandoned car in the vicinity of that road. During investigations at the location, the vehicle was found and, after consultation procedures with Cecopom, it was found that the license plate was tampered with and restricted from theft.

The owner of the vehicle was identified and informed about the recovery.

During the journey to end the incident at the police unit, the military police officers found another abandoned motorcycle, this time on Avenida Hilário Gurjão. The vehicle was theft restricted.

Both incidents were forwarded to the Police Station Specialized in Robbery and Vehicle Theft (DERFV).

In Lábrea (702 kilometers from Manaus), military police from the 4th Independent Military Police Company (CIPM) arrested a man and seized a tampered with motorcycle, this Tuesday morning (05/07).

The man informed the police that the motorcycle was under his responsibility, but belonged to his boss. Due to the tampering with the chassis and engine, the suspect and the vehicle were taken to the 6th Interactive Police Station (DIP).
