Alfabetiza Acre Program opens applications for scholarship teachers

The Department of Education, Culture and Sports of Acre (SEE), through the Youth and Adult Education Division (Dieja), announced the opening of registrations for the selection process of volunteer literacy teachers in the Alfabetiza Acre Program, linked to the Literate Brazil Program (PBA). The notice was published in the Official State Gazette on 05/30/2024.

The Alfabetiza Acre EJA Program aims to promote literacy among young people, adults and the elderly who have not yet had the opportunity to learn to read and write. To this end, scholarships are being made available to volunteer teachers who wish to contribute to this initiative.

Those interested in participating must be at least 18 years old, have a high school certificate, be up to date with their electoral and military obligations (in the case of men) and present a negative criminal record certificate. The selection process will consist of a curriculum analysis of the candidates, analysis of the class presented and participation in the initial Pedagogical Journey.

With the opening of registrations, it is expected to further strengthen the Alfabetiza Acre Program, contributing to education and social development in the state.
