Tough dispute in the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso for the First Secretariat | VGN

The race for the First Secretariat of the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso (ALMT) is tighter than ever, with deputies Janaina Riva and Beto Dois a Um at the center of the dispute. According to deputy Júlio Campos (União), both candidates have strong support, but with different bases that promise an intense fight for the position.

Janaina Riva, according to Campos, seems to have the preference of the majority of deputies, due to her popularity and ability to articulate within the House. “Janaina is very loved among us and I believe that this makes a difference. I believe that she has the support of the majority of deputies”, explained Campos to .

On the other hand, Júlio highlighted, Beto Dois a Um has the support that could be decisive, that of governor Mauro Mendes, from the União party. “Beto has the support of the governor, which without a doubt strengthens his candidacy”, said Campos .

The deputy also highlighted that, despite the evident rivalry, the dispute remains respectful and professional. “These are two big names. War has been declared, but it is a respectful war, I believe,” he said.

In addition to the First Secretariat, the Presidency of the ALMT Board of Directors is also at stake. So far, the only name that has emerged for the position is Max Russi, but Júlio Campos does not rule out the possibility of new candidates emerging before the election. “Politics is dynamic, and new leaders can emerge at any time,” he commented.

Campos, who has already announced his candidacy for Vice-Presidency of ALMT, whether on Max Russi’s ticket or another candidate, emphasizes the importance of collaborative and efficient management. “Regardless of who is in leadership, our objective is to ensure that ALMT operates effectively and transparently, meeting the needs of the people of Mato Grosso,” he concluded.
