Municipalities in Amazonas record torrential rain this Monday

Manaus/AM – After a morning of intense rain, the Civil Defense released a summary of the most affected municipalities this Monday (6).

According to the agency, Careiro da Várzea, Manaus and Anamã recorded rainfall of more than 30 mm in the last 24 hours.

In Careiro, the largest volume of water fell on the Center, where meters recorded 103.49 mm. In Manaus, it rained 53.34 mm in Mauazinho and 51.71 mm in Jorge Teixeira.

In Anamã rainfall is 42.23 mm so far. The forecast is for even more rain throughout the day in the state.
