Aeroclube of Santa Catarina rescues family in city in RS

The president of the Aeroclube de Santa Catarina, Marcelo Dauer, and commander Wagnar managed to rescue a family that was trapped in Ijúi, in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul. The rescue took place on Sunday night (05).

The family, which was with a child, was unable to leave the city by road and needed help from the crew of the Aeroclube’s Seneca 1 Aircraft.

The Aeroclube de Santa Catarina collected supplies that will be donated to those affected by the floods. Donations will be sent via the Air Base this Monday (06).

The entity is collecting clothes, mattresses, drinking water and non-perishable foodstuffs.

Companies collect donations for those affected by the flood in Rio Grande do Sul

The Playing For Change Institute in partnership with NDI Importação e Exportação, DM Share Flights and ZAH are collecting donations to allocate to those affected by the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.

A plane is being used in the operation, allocating resources to Garibaldi Airport, where two helicopters are responsible for distributing supplies and medicines in the Vale do Taquari region.

According to the organization, in addition to distributing humanitarian aid, the aircraft also provide assistance to transport people who require routine hospital treatments, such as hemodialysis.

The group has already made at least two trips with only medicines purchased and distributed by NDI Importação e Exportação. “

We need more medicine and fuel. All the help we are providing will only stop when everything is in order, until then our aircraft will be available to these cities”, guarantees Alan Eccel, CEO of NDI Importação e Exportação.
