“We have been looking for a place to host the college for about a year. And while we wait for the documentation to be processed and released by the Ministry of Education, we will use the building for some courses offered in Aracaju, to make improvements to our unit in the capital. The Senac Sergipe Faculty of Technology was a request from our president Marcos Andrade, so that we could offer, in addition to improvement and 2nd degree courses, the technologist course, with the approval of Senac, which has the quality of education recognized in across the country”, highlighted the Regional Director of Senac-SE, Marcos Sales.

Also present at the signing were the team from the Engineering, Architecture and Infrastructure Center (NEAI), the consultant Adonias Silva and the Administrative Financial Director, Manuel Leal. “It is a great honor to be participating in yet another important milestone for the Fecomércio System in Sergipe. It is another achievement for Senac, led by president Marcos Andrade and I am sure that the engineering team will roll up its sleeves to prepare the property with the excellence that is Senac’s hallmark, to house the Faculty of Technology of Senac”, declared Manuel Loyal.

“Our church is happy to pass on this property to Fecomércio, to Senac, to set up a college. It is wonderful to know how God directs someone’s destiny and we are sure that students who go through college will have their lives marked by victories. In a country like ours, the need for education and culture is essential so that we can have transformation, not only at work, but also in the family. We know that where education, principles and values reach, everything around them changes. We just have to congratulate you on this pioneering project in the State”, emphasized the pastor.

Very emotional, President Marcos Andrade made a point of emphasizing that the word that defines the entire feeling at this moment is gratitude. “This is a unique moment in the history of Fecomércio and Senac. Today, we are signing the deed of acquisition of the property, at Avenida Barão de Maruim, 563. Sergipe will have a Senac college. The word we have for this moment is gratitude to everyone involved in this process, gratitude to everyone at the Renovated Presbyterian Church, in the person of Pastor Marcos Andrade”.

The faculty

Keeping an eye on market demands, Senac Sergipe will establish the Senac Faculty of Technology in Aracaju. The unit will be aimed entirely at higher education in the area of technology and innovation, a segment that is growing and demands more and more qualified professionals prepared to perform the various functions that already exist and others that will be created.

Technology and innovation are frequently discussed topics in the context of social and economic changes in Brazil, and Sergipe cannot remain oblivious to this dynamic of digital culture that began at the end of the last century. The innovative pedagogical approach, based on the integration between theory and practice, already applied in technical and professional courses offered at Senac schools in Sergipe, will be one of the differentiators of the Faculty of Technology at Senac.
