The case of national repercussion of the child taken by her own mother from Cascavel to Governador Valadares, in Minas Gerais, continues without an outcome.

The child was kidnapped in front of the home of a welcoming family in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, in Cascavel.

There were 20 days of searches and the three-year-old girl was brought back at the end of January after being rescued by the Civil Police of Minas Gerais. Since then, the child has not seen her mother, Emilly Santos Saraiva, who in the action was helped by her boyfriend, Maicon Henrique Paco.

Emilly’s defense maintains requests for mother and daughter to have assisted meetings, especially with Mother’s Day approaching. But without success in the judiciary.

The requirements requested are proof of psychological and psychiatric support, permanent residence and employment with a formal contract. According to the lawyer, Claudinei Ozelame, Emily is working as a production assistant in a textile industry.

Four months after everything happened, the defense says that the client came to her senses about the mistake she made.

Currently the child is no longer in a foster family. She was taken to a municipal shelter where she must stay until the process is completed. The investigation at Nucria (Center for the Protection of Children and Adolescents Victims of Crime) has not yet been concluded, according to the defense of the child’s mother.
