A decision handed down by the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region brought the agonizing 20-year wait of the family of the Superior Labor Court employee, Antônio Jorge Cabral Júnior, closer to ending. He broke the news and I just thought about Jorge and how happy he would be if he were here, but he passed away in 2009. For me, the most important thing of all is that his name was honored and that my five children will be able to live at peace with the news that their father was acquitted”, says the server’s wife emotionally.
The civil servant was dismissed from his position in 2004 after going through an administrative disciplinary process that was processed by the TST. The vote given in the sentencing ruling highlighted the disproportionality of the sanction applied to the civil servant, who had never received another penalty in around 20 years of services provided to the court and deserved a review of the penalty imposed since there was no intent or application of a penalty. appropriate disciplinary action, such as removal and medical monitoring of the employee. The case was taken over by the firm Wagner Advogados Associados, which replaced Cassel & Ruzzarin Advogados, and later its partner Sindjus, Ibaneis Rocha Advogados.
