Operation arrests suspect of raping stepson and seizes intimate photos of teenager victim of domestic violence in RR | Roraima

The Roraima Civil Police, through Operation Caminhos Seguros, arrested a 30-year-old furniture assembler, suspected of raping his 13-year-old stepson. The operation also seized intimate photos of a 17-year-old teenager, a victim of domestic violence. The actions were announced this Monday (6).

The operation takes place through the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. The arrest of the furniture assembler took place this Monday (6) in the Cidade Satélite neighborhood, in Boa Vista. The photos were seized in the Bela Vista neighborhood, at the home of a 23-year-old Army soldier, last Friday (3).

In Vila Jardim, the Civil Service carried out the preventive arrest warrant against the suspect, which was ordered by the Court. According to delegate Jaira Farias, head of the Child and Adolescent Protection Police Station (DPCA) Jaira Farias, the victim had suffered sexual violence since she was five years old.

“The victim reported that his mother was separated from the accused, but that they continued to live in the same house and he was the one who picked him up from school. The sexual violence occurred from the age of five to eight and, for a while, it stopped because the child went to live with his grandmother in the interior of the state. However, at the age of 11 he returned to live with his mother and the sexual violence returned,” he detailed.

The child reported that last year he told his mother what was happening, but she did not report the man or send him away from home. Last month, after being raped once again, he decided to ask for help at school, which contacted the Guardianship Council.

After that, the case was forwarded to the Civil Police. The victim underwent a forensic examination that confirmed sexual violence. He was questioned this morning and denied the allegations.

“The victim’s report confirmed sexual violence and the Civil Police, after carrying out investigations, has no doubts about the accused’s participation and is analyzing the omission of the victim’s mother and grandmother,” he said.

The man, after his arrest was formalized, was presented at the Custody Hearing.

In Bela Vista, civil police officers carried out a search and seizure warrant at the soldier’s residence. He was threatening to publish intimate photos of his ex-partner, a 17-year-old teenager, on the internet.

The delegate reported that the victim herself went to the police station to report her ex-partner. The teenager also said that she was a victim of domestic violence. She lived with the suspect for one year and nine months and they always had arguments.

Out of jealousy, he attacked her and destroyed her cell phone with knife blows, because she didn’t allow him to see her messages on the WhatsApp application. The two separated, she filed a police report and requested an Urgent Protective Measure.

According to the delegate, due to threats to expose the victim’s photos on the internet, he was represented by a search and seizure warrant in court, to be executed at the accused’s residence with the aim of seizing the soldier’s cell phone, notebook and flash drive.

“The equipment was seized and sent for analysis at the Perito Dimas Almeida Criminalistics Institute. It is important to clarify that exposing intimate records (photos or videos) of people anywhere, whether online or not, is a crime,” he highlighted.

A police investigation was launched against him in which he is being investigated for crimes of bodily harm in the context of domestic violence, associated with death threats and threats relating to the dissemination of child pornography material.

“Our main focus at this time was to seize the equipment and locate the photos with which he threatened the victim. It is important to note in relation to the crime of disseminating pornographic material in the case of a child or adolescent, the penalty is aggravated and the crime is provided for in the Child and Adolescent Statute”, said the delegate.
