Amazonas Civil Police arrest man sentenced to more than six years in prison for robbery

This Friday (03/05), civil police officers from the Police Station Specialized in Robbery and Vehicle Theft (DERFV) served an arrest warrant following the conviction of Julianderson Pimentel Sinimbu, aged 29, for the crime of robbery. The arrest took place on Avenida Laguna, Lírio do Vale neighborhood, west of the capital.

According to delegate Rodrigo Barreto, head of DERFV, the police teams were taking steps to locate Julianderson, who was already being investigated by the specialized police unit.

“We located the individual and served the arrest warrant due to a sentence of six years and two months for robbery, issued on March 6 of this year, by the 2nd Criminal Execution Court of the District of Manaus”, said the delegate.

According to police authorities, the man already had a history of other robberies and thefts.

The court order was complied with and Julianderson was taken to DERFV headquarters. He will undergo a custody hearing and will be available to the Judiciary.
