Hey, psiu! Emerson Dias is the new Interpreter of Botafogo Samba Clube

Botafogo Samba Clube already has a new official voice for its debut at Marquês de Sapucaí. Emerson Dias will be the official interpreter of the alvinegra fans’ school at Carnival 2025. The singer had already been champion in the group’s samba contest in 2020, in the storyline about Beth Carvalho.

Emerson began his career in 1991 as a support player and has played for several clubs. As an official interpreter, he defended Grande Rio and Salgueiro, the school where he stayed for the last six years, and will meet carnival artist Alex de Souza again. Currently, it is divided between the schools Mocidade Unida da Mooca, X9 de Santos, Andaraí and Cova da Onça.

In addition to Emerson Dias, the school has in its segment team names such as Alex de Souza, the carnival director Valber Frutuoso, the drum master Branco Ribeiro, the choreographer of the front committee Jardel Augusto, the couple of master room and door -flag Beatriz Paula and Diego Moreira. The association will soon launch its plot for Carnival 2025.
