After being postponed due to Madonna, Soweto holds a megashow in Rio de Janeiro and welcomes celebrities | Events
-
Singer Belo, 50, is performing alongside Soweto in Rio de Janeiro. The singer Ana Clara, 29, was responsible for opening the group’s show at Apoteose. Initially the quartet’s performance was scheduled for last Saturday (4), but was postponed until this Sunday (5), due to Madonna’s presence in Copacabana.
The show featured the participation of celebrities such as Bella Campos, Tais Araujo, Sheron Menezes, Roberta Rodrigues, Douglas Silva and Romario who made a point of posing for photos before the event.
Belo and Gracyanne Barbosa:
At the time of the postponement, Belo criticized the queen of pop, after the singer complained about Brazilian fans. “Was that why we canceled the Soweto show on May 4th? It’s free and expensive! Sad”, criticized the pagodeiro.
After the controversial separation from Gracyanne Barbosa, Belo will take the stage alongside, Claudinho, Cris It is Given away, and will sing the band’s biggest hits in a three-hour show. The set list is full of romantic pagoda hits, some made for hopeful – or broken – hearts.
