Grupo MM plans to open another 30 stores in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Currently, the chain, which was founded in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, has 17 stores in that state.
In addition to expanding the number of stores, the group plans to build a logistics center in Mato Grosso do Sul, so that the logistics process is efficient. Construction is expected to take place in the city of Rio Brilhante, where businessman Márcio Pauliki and the group’s president, Jeroslau Pauliki, were received by mayor Lucas Foroni, a team of secretaries and councilor Everton Cristiano.
As published by Márcio Pauliki, on his social networks, Lucas’ administration made an area available, in the form of an assignment, for the construction of the logistics center. “It is essential that we have an efficient logistical process and close to the state of MS where the city of Rio Brilhante, through its mayor Lucas Foroni and his team of secretaries and especially the then councilor Everton Cristiano, tirelessly sought the public interest of the city’s economic and social development and provided an area in the form of a transfer so that we could build our logistics center”, says the publication.
Construction work on the project should begin immediately. There will be two 4,500 square meter centers, as well as spaces for administration and control, as well as a photovoltaic plant and, in a second phase, an industry in the segment.
According to Márcio Pauliki, in the final phase hundreds of jobs and taxes will be generated for the city, as well as for the state.
