A 15-year-old teenager, whose identity was not disclosed, died after falling and hitting his head while playing with classmates, in the courtyard of the Serra Azul State School, in Diamantino, 299 km from Cuiabá, this Friday (3). According to the Military Police, Before the accident, the student fell ill after smoking marijuana in the unit, with the other students.
In a statement, the State Department of Education (Seduc-MT) lamented the student’s death and said that the Regional Education Directorate (DRE) is providing support to the victim’s family and school students, through psychological assistance.
The police, The victim’s classmates said they frequently used drugs at school. A chopper was found in the teenager’s backpack – an accessory used to crush or grind marijuana and cigarette paper.
The Military Police reported that the young man was rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service, but he did not resist and died in the health unit. The victim’s body must undergo an autopsy examination to determine the cause of death.
Two minors, who were with the student, were taken to the police station to give a statement. The case is investigated by the Civil Police.
