After a week of intense competition, the 51st Brazilian Adult Futsal Cup of the 1st Division reaches its final chapter this Saturday (4). And the decision will be in the northeast, between Esporte Clube Traipu (AL) and Sampaio Araiosense (MA).
The ball will roll at 8pm, at the Ginásio Poliesportivo SESC LER, in Goiana, North Coast of Pernambuco. The final will be broadcast live on CBFS TV (@oficialcbfs) on YouTube.
SEMIFINALS
The people from Alagoas dominated the semifinal match against Tabocão Vila Nova (TO). With goals from Pecém, goalkeeper Léo and Lukinhas, the team opened 3-0. In the second half, Lukinhas and Thiaguinho closed the score at 5-0.
In the other game, there was no lack of emotion. Atlético de Goiana was winning 4-2, but with 50 seconds left, Sampaio Araiosense (MA) went for a 4-4 draw. And in extra time, the Maranhão team secured an epic 5-4 victory. A bucket of cold water for the local fans. The two finalists guaranteed participation in the Special Division.
The 51st Brazilian Adult Futsal Cup of the 1st Division is organized in partnership between the Brazilian Futsal Confederation (CBFS) and the Pernambuco Futsal Federation (FPFS), with support from the City of Goiana.
