The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued, this Saturday (4), a warning for intense rain, with winds that could reach between 40-60 km/h, in Acre, this weekend. Closing date is at 10 am this Sunday (5).
According to the Institute, rainwater can accumulate between 20 and 30 millimeters per hour or even 50 mm per day. With a yellow alert, storms have potential danger. Despite this, Inmet states that there is a low risk of electricity cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges.
Instructions
Inmet also publishes instructions for the population in cases of complications.
- In case of gusts of wind: do not take shelter under trees, as there is a slight risk of falling and electrical discharges and do not park vehicles near transmission towers and advertising signs.
- Avoid using electronic devices plugged into the socket.
