A duo, aged 21 and 40, was arrested on Thursday (2), suspected of robbing a commercial establishment in Lábrea, in the interior of Amazonas, and also for drug trafficking. The Military Police say that those arrested are father and son. The suspects were identified through security camera images and confessed to the crime to authorities.
The arrest, according to the police, took place after a complaint from the victim, who had his business robbed. At the time, the pair took around R$1,000 in cash, three cell phones, precision scales, drugs, paper bags used for sales and a safe.
During the approach, the son indicated that the stolen safe was hidden in his father’s house, where the police also found the vehicle used in the robbery. Additionally, a backpack containing several bank cards was found.
The suspects were arrested and taken to legal proceedings at the 6th Civil Police Station.
