The population of DF will be able to get vaccinated against flu this Saturday (4)

Residents of the Federal District will be able to get vaccinated against the flu (influenza) this Saturday (4). In 19 service locations, teams from the Department of Health (SES-DF) will be ready to administer doses to all people from six months of age. The campaign was expanded on Thursday (2) and is now available to babies, children, teenagers, adults and the elderly. The guideline is to bring your age document and vaccination record.

The service points include the Brazlândia Community Restaurant and the Brasília José Alencar Children’s Hospital. A total of 16 Basic Health Units (UBSs) will also offer the service on Saturday. There will also be the availability of other immunization agents on the calendar, such as those that protect against yellow fever, measles and tetanus, among others.

The dengue vaccine will be available at UBSs for children and adolescents aged 10 to 14. The complete list of addresses, opening hours and available vaccinations is available on the SES-DF website. There will be no immunization on Sunday (5).

Dengue cases

Throughout the weekend, anyone with dengue symptoms will be able to seek assistance in 11 reception tents. The units located in Guará, Gama and Paranoá operate 24 hours a day, uninterruptedly, including on Sundays.

The tents in Planaltina, Varjão, Plano Piloto, Vicente Pires, Arniqueira, Ceilândia, Taguatinga and Samambaia are open from 7am to 7pm, every day. The complete list with times and addresses is also available on the secretariat’s website.

Furthermore, the population of DF has UBSs available with extended opening hours on the weekends. Emergency Care Units (UPAs) and hospitals maintain 24-hour assistance.
