The opening of the Tocantins Agricultural Technology Fair (Agrotins) will be marked by a country style, with shows by Dorgival Dantas and the duos Humberto and Ronaldo and Di Paullo & Paulino. The event will take place next Thursday (9), in the parking lot of the Ayrton Senna Gymnasium, in Jardim Aureny II, in Palmas.
The attractions were announced by the government this Friday (3) and will mark the beginning of the 24th edition of Agrotins. The fair will be held between May 14th and 18th, at the Engenheiro Agrônomo Mauro Mendanha Agrotechnological Park, which is located in the southern region of the capital.
This year’s theme is Bioeconomy and according to the State Secretariat for Agriculture and Livestock (Seagro), more than 200 thousand visitors are expected and approximately R$3 billion in business will be carried out.
The shows are scheduled to start from 7pm and the party will be open to the public, with free entry.
This year, organizers, agribusiness companies, state and municipal institutions and exhibitors will occupy a space of 400 thousand square meters. Among the new features is the restructuring of the lakefront, which will have areas for visitors. The presence of exhibitors is expected to increase by 30% this year, according to the government.
The program also includes lectures and workshops focused on technologies for small producers. They may also have information about credit line financing incentives.
In addition to the public that is part of the ‘agro’, caravans with students must also pass through Agrotins. Through a partnership between the State Department of Education (Seduc) and Seagro, the public will be able to learn about the agrotechnological innovations available.
Visitors will also be able to see the exhibition with more animals, including horses and cattle, beef and dairy cattle. In agriculture, there will be stands selling soybean seeds, corn, rice, beans, sorghum and other grains.
