Sesc Amazonas is offering more than 200 places in various cultural courses, such as choir, dance, theater, drawing and guitar. Among the options, there is also Marching Band, offered free of charge.
The course includes musical theory classes and instrumental practice of wind instruments (trumpet, trombone, flugelhorn, bombardino, horn, tuba and sousaphone) and symphonic percussion (timpani, marimba, vibraphone, snare drum, surdo, symphonic bass drum), for people between 10 and 50 years.
Free dance classes are also being offered – regional rhythms (from 15 years old), and choral singing (from 17 years old). The activities of the three modalities take place at the Sesc Balneário unit.
Commercial workers and their dependents, and students or graduates from the public education network, who have a gross monthly family income of up to three minimum wages, can apply.
Registration must be made at the Thiago de Mello Library located at the Sesc Centro unit, at Rua Henrique Martins, 427, or at the Tenório Telles Library, located at the Sesc Education Center, at Av. Constantinopla, 288, Alvorada.

Paid courses at Sesc Amazonas
The guitar, ukulele, baby and children’s ballet, ballroom dancing, theater, and drawing courses are also open for enrollment.
Aimed at children and teenagers between 3 and 17 years old, classes take place at the Sesc Balneário unit and at Sesc Restauração, in Manacapuru, for one of the Children’s Ballet classes. Adults are offered places on the guitar course.
The monthly investment values vary between R$36 and R$83 for commercial workers and their dependents with Sesc credentials and between R$73 and R$146 for the general public.
Enrollment can be done at the Sesc Relationship Centers, located at Rua Henrique Martins, n.427; Av. Constantinople, n.288, Alvorada; and Rua Visconde de Itanhaém, n.94, Cidade Nova.
