“This is undoubtedly a festive date, but also an opportunity to show our associates the work we have been developing over the last few years. We launched ExpoMAR, which is a showcase of our State’s fishing production and also the Fisheries Observatory, which will serve as a tool to subsidize the government and the Sector itself with data related to our activity”, explained the president of SINDIPI, Agnaldo Hilton dos Santos.

“Both are the fruits of important partnerships that we maintain with pride”, he highlighted.

In addition to members of the entity, several authorities, representatives of partner institutions, the press and also the VIP presence of the athlete, model and fisherman Paulo Zulu were present at the event. Known for his incessant pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, Zulu only consumes fish as a source of animal protein. Today he also has a small artisanal fishing vessel and does not hide his passion for the Fishing Sector.

“I fish for consumption and I congratulate SINDIPI for the serious technical work so that industrial fishing is increasingly sustainable, ensuring that consumers have access to seafood, food that is a source of health”, highlighted Zulu.
