On May 3rd, the city of Arapiraca will be the setting for a historic milestone for education and culture in Alagoas. At 2pm, at the Professor’s Club of Arapiraca, the event to launch the first Student Academy of Letters in Alagoas will take place.
The culmination of this event represents not only the inauguration of an academy, but also the recognition of the potential of young students as active agents in the promotion of literature and arts in Alagoas and the publication of the first Student Academy Writers’ Anthology.
This initiative will not only enrich the cultural scene of Agreste de Alagoas, but will also open new horizons for the educational and artistic development of young people.
The Academia Arapiraquense de Letras e Artes – ACALA is pleased to lead this extraordinary project with a lot of dedication and motivation, knowing that several seeds will be planted and that we will harvest a generation of culture makers. We will induct many writers ages 14 to 22 who will be inspirations for their communities and schools!
As a result of the initiative and commitment of Deputy Ricardo Nezinho, through a parliamentary amendment, this pioneering and authentic project will become a reality, promoting the academic and cultural development of students in the region.
