The Minas Interior Games (JIMI) are back after 5 years
The competition takes place from April 30th to May 5th.

The Games of the Interior of Minas (JIMI), a program of the Government of the State of Minas Gerais that promotes the most traditional sports competition in the State, developed by the State Secretariat for Social Development through the Undersecretariat of Sports and Municipal Governments.
With the aim of involving the participation of the population from the interior of Minas Gerais, the program has athletes and para-athletes, federated or not, exclusively born or with electoral domicile in the State of Minas Gerais, aged 16 and over, in modalities collective and individual in the female and male categories.
After 5 years of absence, due to the pandemic, the return of the games will take place from April 30th to May 5th in the city of João Monlevade, the event’s metropolitan micro-regional headquarters.
Around 30 local athletes, from women’s and men’s futsal, will represent Ouro Preto in the competitions.

In total, there will be eight municipalities that will host the competitions, in a special edition for futsal.
Registration is carried out by city halls following the deadlines stipulated by the execution schedule published on the websites: www.jimi.esportes.mg.gov.br or ww.social.mg.gov.br. Anyone interested in participating in the games should contact their city hall.
