Data released by the SES (State Department of Health) points to 167 new cases of Covid-19 during the epidemiological week in Mato Grosso do Sul.
In the same bulletin published by the department, there is no record of deaths due to the disease.
The municipalities with the most positive tests are Campo Grande, with 62, followed by Anastácio (16) and Naviraí (15). Dourados appears close behind with 10 new people infected by the coronavirus.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, in 2020, the State has recorded 633,606 confirmed cases. Of the total, 9,110 occurred in the first four months of the year alone.
Deaths total 61 related to the disease in 2024 and 11,242 since the emergence of Covid-19.
