The State Department of Traffic of Goiás (Detran-GO) announces the opening of a free course to train instructors and traffic examiners. The initiative aims to increase the number of professionals trained to conduct practical driving exams, essential for obtaining a National Driving License (CNH) and processes for changing or adding a category.
The president of Detran-GO, Delegate Waldir, announced the opening of registrations this Tuesday. The course will be taught by the municipality’s renowned Public Traffic School, with an initial forecast of 70 places. The detailed notice will be released next week.
Interested parties must have a higher education certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education. Those selected will only be responsible for the registration fee for the examiner course, in the amount of R$ 37.14. The course will have a workload of 208 hours, with the first class scheduled to start in June.
Currently, there is a significant shortage of qualified professionals to work in this sector. Detran-GO carries out approximately 30 thousand practical exams per month, distributed among around 120 examination boards in more than 90 municipalities.
The main objective is to universalize the activity, taking examination boards to all municipalities and, consequently, reducing the costs for candidates to obtain a driver’s license.
Requirements for participation in the examiner course offered by Detran-GO include a minimum age of 21 years, possession of a driving license issued by Detran-GO with at least 2 years of experience as a driver, higher education certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education, absence of infractions very serious conditions in the last 12 months, and not serving a penalty of suspension or revocation of the right to drive.
President Delegate Waldir highlights the need to increase the number of examination boards to meet the growing demand. In the coming days, the notice for the accreditation of companies interested in teaching the examiner course will be launched.
Last Monday (04/29), Detran-GO began registration for the accreditation of traffic examiners, which will remain open indefinitely. Interested parties must send complete documentation to the following email: [email protected]. Remuneration will be based on productivity, with a ceiling set at R$6,380.
Candidates must have a traffic examiner course, be qualified for at least two years in the category equal to or higher than the one they intend to evaluate, present documentation in accordance with the notice and participate in a refresher course offered by Detran-GO. After this stage, those eligible will undergo practical training.
The accreditation is intended for individuals who have completed the traffic examiner course in accordance with the regulations of the National Traffic Council and endorsed by Detran-GO. Requirements include a minimum age of 21, completed higher education in any area of training and qualification in the category to be examined for two years or more. Being a Libras interpreter is desirable.
