Hospital employee is stabbed by another employee in Bahia

A 40-year-old man was arrested red-handed in Teixeira de Freitas, in the extreme south of Bahia, on suspicion of stabbing a co-worker. The case happened this Tuesday (30), inside the municipal hospital.

According to information obtained by TV Santa Cruz, an affiliate of TV Bahia in Itabuna, the victim is the coordinator of a Melhor em Casa Program, while the suspect is a driver for the Municipal Health Department.

The crime happened when the man went to sign the form of absence from work. He arrived at the hospital with a knife and stabbed the coordinator, who was hit in the hands and face.

The victim had to be taken to the surgical center and, according to family members, his health condition is stable.

The city of Teixeira de Freitas did not detail the reason for the man’s removal, but the family said that he has psychological problems.
