Sister of Bahian drug boss arrested in Complexo da Penha | Rio de Janeiro

The sister of a drug trafficking boss in Bahia was arrested this Tuesday (30) in Complexo da Penha, in the North Zone of Rio.

Sidcleia Silva dos Santos, aged 42, known as Teinha, was wanted in Bahia for the crimes of drug trafficking and association with drug trafficking. The action was carried out by agents from the Narcotics Suppression Department in joint work with the Civil Police Intelligence Subsecretariat (SSINT).

She is the sister of drug dealer Sidmar Soares Santos, known as “Bolota”, who is considered the head of drug trafficking in the cities of Itabuna and Ilhéus, in Bahia. Bolota is wanted for the crimes of illegal possession of a firearm, drug trafficking, gang formation and homicide.

He is part of the “Crime Deck”, created by the Public Security Secretariat of Bahia, and is considered highly dangerous.

According to police, the woman was arrested while leaving the community to go to the bank. The police claim that she is responsible for accounting for the profits resulting from drug trafficking in Bahia.

After completing the judicial police procedures, the prisoner was sent to the prison system where she will remain at the disposal of the Justice.

The Narcotics Repression Police Station carried out an operation in Itaperuna to execute 19 search and seizure warrants against Comando Vermelho drug traffickers, this Tuesday (30).

During the operation, Marcos Vinícios Nunes Coutinho, known as Guerreiro, was arrested with many drugs. In addition to him, four other suspects were arrested and a minor was apprehended.

According to investigators, drug traffickers use Minha Casa Minha Vida in the Marechal Castelo Branco neighborhood to explore the sale of drugs. Guerreiro is named by the police as head of this scheme.

Reports of beatings and coercion against residents to appropriate properties in the housing complex were attached to the investigation.

The police also claim that Guerreiro has close relations with Abelha and Corolla, who are high-ranking members of the faction.
