The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) published this Tuesday (30) a storm warning for all municipalities in Roraima. The alert is valid until 10am this Wednesday (1st).
According to the institute, everyone is under yellow alert, of potential danger from storms. The forecast for the next few hours is rain of between 20 and 30 mm/h, with intense winds of 40 to 60 km/h. In both cases, there is a risk of electricity cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges.
In case of storms with gusts of wind, the recommendation is not to take shelter under trees, as there is a risk of falling and electrical shocks. Also do not park vehicles near transmission towers and advertising signs).
