Government delivers Budget Guidelines Bill to Alepa for the 2025 financial year

The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat for Planning and Administration (Seplad), delivered this Tuesday (30) the Budgetary Guidelines Bill (PLDO), for the 2025 financial year, to the Legislative Assembly of the State of Pará. Pará (Alepa), complying with the legal deadline established in article 204 of the State Constitution. The LDO defines public administration goals and priorities for the next year, as well as guides the preparation of the Annual Budget Law (LOA) and regulates the balance between revenues and expenses.Team of Seplad professionals with the LDO/2025 Bill

“Today, Seplad delivers another very important product to Alepa, which is the Bill for the 2025 Budget Guidelines Law, that is, for the 2025 financial year, within the legal deadline. The objective of the LDO bill is precisely to establish the goals and priorities of the public administration so that, in the future, in September, we deliver the Annual Budget Law (LOA). The LDO will guide the preparation of the LOA, as well as guide its budget execution for the next fiscal year. We are very happy to deliver this product, which is linked to the Planning Secretariat and the Deputy Secretary of Planning and State Budget”, said Nazaré Nascimento, deputy secretary of Planning and Budget at Seplad.

The public hearing to prepare the guidelines was held on April 9, and took place in a hybrid format, with in-person and virtual participation by authorities, representatives of the powers, institutional partners and the population, through live chat on the Seplad YouTube channel .

Preparation phases – The Proposed Budgetary Guidelines Law aims to establish Fiscal Planning, Fiscal Targets and Guidelines to determine the bases of the Annual Budgetary Law (LOA/2025). The bill went through four phases of preparation: Data and Information Collection, Preparation of the PLDO, Public Participation and Consolidation, and delivery to Alepa.

The government’s priorities included in the bill include the implementation of the City Park, in Belém, in the Guajará Integration Region; Completion of the renovation and expansion of the São Caetano de Odivelas Municipal Hospital, in the Guamá Integration Region; Completion of the Breves Maternal and Child Hospital, in the Marajó Integration Region, and the Construction of the Cargo and Passenger Waterway Terminal in the Municipality of Cametá (Vila de Carapajó), in the Tocantins Integration Region.
