The City of Marituba, through Decree nº 346/2024, announced the convening of the 1st Municipal Conference on Work Management and Health Education. With the theme “Democracy, Work and Health Education for Development: People who do the SUS happens”, the event is scheduled for May 23 and 24, 2024.
The decision is based on municipal legislation, especially Municipal Law/COMSAM nº 452/2019, which provides for the convening of municipal health conferences.
The conference will be held at the Baptist Tabernacle Church, located at Rua Célio Mota, 02, Bairro Dom Aristides, Marituba.
The Municipal Health Secretary (Sesau) will preside over the event, which will feature a General Coordination elected by the Full Municipal Health Council.
The conference’s regulations and internal regulations have already been approved by the Municipal Health Council and published in a resolution.
The 1st Municipal Conference on Work Management and Health Education is a step towards holding the 2nd State Conference on Work Management and Health Education in Pará, which is scheduled for the 26th, 27th and 28th of June 2024, at capital.
Three sub-axes will guide the discussions: Democracy and social control, Decent work in the SUS and Education for the development of health work.
Participation in the municipal conference will be equal, with representatives from the three segments of the SUS.
The election of delegates took place at the Pre-Conferences, held on April 26th (Users) and April 29th (Workers and Managers/Providers).
