The Public Ministry of the State of Acre (MPAC), through the Civil Prosecutor’s Office of Sena Madureira, recommended to the City Hall and the State Government the implementation of an electronic point in all basic health units in the municipality and at Hospital Geral João Câncio Fernandes, within a maximum period of 120 days.
The measure aims to guarantee full compliance with the working day by health professionals, ensuring the population has access to quality healthcare with defined opening hours.
The recommendation, signed by prosecutor Júlio César de Medeiros Silva, considers, among other problems, complaints from residents about the lack of care in basic health units, in addition to complaints about the quality of care at the General Hospital of Sena Madureira.
In the document, MPAC emphasizes that the electronic point must be installed in places with access to the public and within the reach of monitoring cameras and also recommends that information about the location and opening hours of professionals be made available on the internet and in rooms reception of health units.
The recommendation highlights that civil servants must present declarations about possible accumulation of public positions, with renewal every six months, and that their frequency is determined by reading biometrics. Finally, it highlights the importance of warning about possible disciplinary liability for employees who unjustifiably refuse to adopt the electronic time recording system.
The promoter reinforces that MPAC will monitor compliance with the recommendation and, if necessary, will take the appropriate measures to ensure the effectiveness of the proposed measures.
