Bahia FM 88.7 from Salvador (BA) presented something new to listeners this Monday (29). The popular format/hits station in the capital of Bahia began broadcasting Nosso Baba, a program whose main theme is football and will be broadcast daily on the nightly schedule of the radio controlled by Rede Bahia.
The program is presented by Renan Pinheiro and Paulo César Gomes with a daily sports review that airs from 7pm to 8pm. The presenters already have extensive experience in the sports area within the Bahian group.
Renan is known at Globo Esporte Bahia and has worked on Rede Bahia’s sports coverage for 19 years. Paulo has been part of the Rede Bahia team for 5 years and has a lot of experience in the world of football on his resume, having worked with sport for 4 decades.

Together, the duo will have this live chat with listeners about the state’s football teams, with emphasis on the duo Bahia and Vitória, who compete in Série A of the Brasileirão. “Bahia FM always keeps an eye on what is expected by the public and sport, which is usually featured in our other programs, deserved its special time”, said the programming coordinator for Rede Bahia radio stations, Maurício Habib.
The coordinator also highlighted that the intention is to keep the program on the broadcaster’s schedule. “Our Baba came to stay and he is a beloved son who we are preparing with great effort to go on air”, says Habib.
