Porto Seguro was a prominent presence at the 1st edition of MTM – Minas Travel Market, an event that aims to be a showcase for B2B tourism in the state of Minas Gerais. Held on April 26th and 27th, at Minascentro, in Belo Horizonte, the event brought together several actors from the tourism sector in search of opportunities and partnerships.

The team from the Porto Seguro Tourism Secretariat, led by assistant secretary Guto Jones, actively participated in the program, with actions carried out at the Bahia State Tourism Secretariat stand. The focus was to articulate benefits with the main operators in Minas Gerais and the country present at the event, aiming to strengthen the presence and tourist offer of the destination.

The participation of a trade delegation, made up of a large number of hoteliers, demonstrates the strategic importance of this market for Porto Seguro. “Minas Gerais is one of the main hubs sending tourists to the destination, with regular and chartered flights that connect directly to the two regions”, highlights the section. deputy, Guto Jones.

The event was an important opportunity to bring together suppliers and buyers from the tourism sector from all over Brazil, promoting the exchange of experiences and the opening of new business opportunities with tourism operators and agents. Among the results achieved during the event, highlights the confirmation of a daily charter flight to the destination in January, through Operator ViagensPromo, in addition to two additional charter flights to Porto Seguro.
