This Wednesday, May 1st, Labor Day is celebrated. The date is declared a national holiday, as provided for in State Decree No. 542, of December 29, 2023, changing the functioning of several bodies in Sergipe.
Ceac (Citizen Service Center)
Ceac units, present in the capital and interior of the state, will be closed during the holiday, returning to normal activities on Thursday, the 2nd.
SSP (State Secretariat for Public Security)
Urgent and emergency services, such as Military Police (190), Civil Police (181), Fire Department (193) and on-duty police stations, will remain open 24 hours a day.
Detran/SE (State Traffic Department of Sergipe)
There will be no service at Detran/SE on Wednesday, returning to normal hours on Thursday, from 7am to 5:30pm.
Health
Equipment from the State Department of Health (SES), such as the Reception and Imaging Diagnosis Center (Cadi), Sergipe Health Care Center (Case) and others, will not operate on the holiday. Hospitals and Samu 192 Sergipe will operate normally.
Ipesaúde (Institute for Health Promotion and Assistance for Sergipe State Sergipe)
Units in Aracaju and in the interior will be closed. However, emergency services such as Pronto Atendimento Dr. Willen Alves Correia (SPA) will operate 24 hours a day.
Banese (State Bank of Sergipe)
Banese units and branches will be closed, but services can be accessed via ATMs, internet banking and the bank’s app.
The Labor Day holiday in Sergipe is marked by changes in the functioning of various services, but ensures that the population’s essential demands are met.
