State manages to approve, in the Finance Commission, the end of salary bands with original project

The Government of Pernambuco managed to approve in the Finance Committee of the State Legislative Assembly (Alepe) the end of salary ranges for police officers and military firefighters as original textwithout the changes suggested by the opposition.

As a result, the extinction of the bands will be staggered until 2026. But it still needs to be approved in the Plenary by an absolute majority, with 25 votes, next week.

The vote in Finance, this Tuesday morning (30), tied 4 x 4 and was broken by the president of the collegiate, government deputy Débora Almeida (PSDB).

The rapporteur in the group was deputy Socorro Pimentel (UB), who presented opinion contrary to the replacement of deputy Gleide Ângelo (PSB)which anticipated the end of the tracks for 2025.

Deputies Luciano Duque (SD), Henrique Queiroz Filho (PP), João de Nadegi (PV), in addition to the rapporteur Socorro Pimentel, voted in favor of the opinion and against the substitute.

Opposition deputies Rodrigo Farias (PSB), Diogo Moraes (PSB), Sileno Guedes (PSB) and Alberto Feitosa (PL) voted in favor of the replacement.
