The rains are already due to return! Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology) issued a warning for potentially dangerous rains and storms, with a risk of flooding, river overflows and landslides, in Santa Catarina.

According to meteorologist Piter Scheuer, the rainfall should start this Wednesday (1st) and end only on Saturday (4th).
There is a risk of disturbances in all regions of the West, Planalto Sul and Serra Santa Catarina, with volumes that can vary between 200 and 350 mm.
The return of rain in Santa Catarina
Scheuer explains that this situation is favored by the arrival of a cold front together with a current of hot, humid air transported from the Amazon Forest.
During these days, it is important to avoid agricultural activities or work that requires dry weather, as recommended by the specialist.

After that, the storms will advance through the cities bordering Rio Grande do Sul and should spread to the rest of Santa Catarina by the end of the day.
