A 34-year-old man was caught by the Santa Catarina Military Highway Police driving a trailer loaded with tiles along the SC-370, in the Gravatal region. The case was registered on Saturday, April 27th.

According to the PMRv, the vehicle was approached in front of the Military Highway Police station in Gravatal, at KM 164 on the highway.

The man who was driving the truck told the police that, despite not having the document, he had started driving the truck a week ago.

He traveled between the cities of São Martinho-SC and Curitiba-PR, an approximate distance of 400 kilometers.

The truck was detained until another driver, duly licensed, arrived at the scene.

The owner of the truck will be subject to prosecution for allowing, entrusting or handing over the driving of a motor vehicle to a person who is not licensed, whose license has been revoked or whose right to drive has been suspended, or even to whom, due to their state of health, physical or mental, or due to drunkenness, is not in a position to drive it safely.
